Design features and advantage |
- Cylindrical rotor design, air cooled by fans mounted on the shaft.
- Use with gas and steam turbines.
- The stator frame structures have been extensively designed using the very latest analysis techniques, they combine minimum weight with maximum rigidity to produce machines with inherently low vibration levels.
- Can be packaged along with gearbox for connection to turbines that run at shaft speeds other than 3000 or 3600 rev/min.
- The range can be adapted for special light weight applications such as mobile power systems.
- Overall acoustic enclosure with the appropriate air filtration system available including fire protection and gas detection lighting and access.
